The general consensus is that training and teaching go hand in hand, and, to some degree, we think that’s probably pretty accurate. Where we depart from that thinking however, is in a typical corporate environment where time is tight, budgets are stretched and what’s learned needs to be retained as it’s carried into practice efficiently and effectively.
Training is a vehicle toward learning, but it’s not what makes people truly understand the subject matter. Where training is useful is when it’s supported by a solid foundation of engaged, immersive and understandable teaching.
